Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as Buyer (m/f/d) within the Transport & Logistics Team at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder, limited to 6 months.
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end procurement activity for strategic service providers for transport and logistics services across the Airbus Group
- Supporting and contributing to the deployment of the Airbus Procurement Market Segment Sourcing Strategy including associated policies
- Perform market intelligence evaluation in line with the Market Segment Sourcing Strategy
- Support and manage call-for-tenders (CFTs), including contract drafting and commercial negotiations
- Achieve best-in-class purchasing solutions in line with internal customer needs, company requirements
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes and policies
- Support the Multi-functional Teams through the CFT and contract life-cycle phases
- Monitor and support service provider performance, continuous improvements, claim management, including the lead for commercial settlement
- Establish, expand and intensify long-term relationships with 3PL/4PL transport service providers and logistics service providers
- Manage the internal stakeholders during all phases (service evolution, periods of crisis)
- Support specific projects in the field of sustainability, supply chain resilience, competitiveness, digitalisation and innovation
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics, Economics or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in Procurement, Logistics, Supplier and Contract Management
- Basic knowledge in Project Management
- Skills in Google Workspace
- Fluent English skills spoken and written
- German and French skills are advantageous
