Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance
- Manage supplier relationships, including selection, performance monitoring, and contract negotiation to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality requirements
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards across the supply chain, from raw material sourcing to final product delivery
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers and internal processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Lead problem-solving initiatives related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and nonconformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, and procurement to align supply chain and quality objectives with overall business goals
- Analyze supply chain data and quality metrics to identify trends, forecast demands, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive continuous improvement projects within the supply chain and quality management systems
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of Engineering, Supply Chain Quality, Aircraft Manufacturing or comparable
- Work Experience in Aircraft Manufacturing, Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain
- Knowledge in Lean Management, Project Management and Total Quality Management
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- Experience in SAP, Python and Google Workspace
- Fluent English and German skills, both written and spoken
