Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Landing Gear System Engineer (m/f/d) for AIRBUS in Manching.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the generation and maturation of Weapon System, Landing Gear System and Equipment-level technical, performance and Certification requirements
- Supporting the end-to-end development of Landing Gear equipment and assemblies
- Support to Landing Gear equipment and assembly integration activities
- Support to planning system/equipment-level Qualification activities and monitoring equipment/assembly-level physical test, modelling & simulation activities
- Supplier management, including oversight of Equipment Supplier performance and technical compliance
Your Profile
- Completed studies in aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in IT and aerospace
- Ideally experience in Landing Gear System Development
- Experience in the use of one or more of the following design, modelling/simulation, requirements capture and project management applications would be advantageous: Catia V.0, MATLAB, Simulink, IBM DOORS, Confluence/Jira
- Very good knowledge in MS-Office
- Fluent English skills both spoken and written
- German knowlede is nice to have
- A willingness to travel within Europe – mainly into France for business purposes about once/month on average
