Ihre zukünftige Arbeitsstelle:
You are acting as an Techniker Aerodynamik Labor (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Integration and Instrumentation of wind tunnel models
- Integration of mechanical and electromechanical components
- Strain gage application
- Sensor integration
- Support model / calibration assembly concept generation in coordination with relevant stakeholders both inside and outside of aerodynamics
- Maintenance and repair of wind tunnel models and measurement technology / data acquisition systems
- Assistance to measurement technology, electronics and wind tunnel engineers with manual tasks in the aerodynamics laboratory and during wind tunnel tests (occasional travel)
- Management of tool and inventory stock
- Support the quality assurance of outsourced components (participation in buy-off on site)
- Support model fabrication using in-house 3D print
- Contribution to test preparation
- Contribution to wind tunnel test execution in external wind tunnel facilities
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering or comparable
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge about and experience in the application of measurement technology typically used in the wind tunnel test environment
- Hands-on attitude in the Aerodynamics Laboratory and during wind tunnel tests as well as experience in model handling
- Experience in MS-Office
- Knowledge and experience in 3D printing is an advantage
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel (3x per year 1-4 weeks / USA, NL and within Germany)
