Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Software Engineer for Simulation UI Systems in Manching.
Your Responsibilities:
- Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
- Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
- Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
- Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, and follow software development best practices
- Analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs
- Identify and address technical risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed
- Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodolgy
- Participate in code reviews and ensure the code meets the defined coding standards
- Ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in computer science, software engineer or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in IT / information systems
- Deep knowledge in C++ and Qt/QML is required (to program surfaces)
- Simulation background is helpful
- Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
