For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Manching. Your team is developing the synthetic environment for different training simulators.

Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement services of the Synthetic Environment in C++
- Ensure alignment with the needs of different stakeholders
- Design and implement software interfaces (API) between different services and external systems
- Develop and maintain software solutions in C++ that support operational and technical requirements to provide a realistic simulation
- Support the software design of the service-oriented architecture for the Synthetic Environment based on different project needs
- Continuous integration and testing of the developed services, implementing automated software integration tests within the CI pipeline
- Apply DevOps principles and tools
- Support software verification activities
- Analyse the cause of reported issues and issue fixing
- Documentation of software design, interfaces and tests
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in Computer Science or coparable
- Several years of professional experience in software development with C++
- Experience in developing distributed / services-oriented software systems
- Experience in synthetic environments for training simulators is a plus
- Interest in tactical/military flight simulators, software development and integration
- Very good skills in modern C++, as well as asynchronous programming
- User skills in CMake, Conan2, Git, Jenkins and Docker/ Podman
- Fluent English skills spoken and written
