Your prospective job:
For our renowned client in the aerospace industry you act as a Senior Engineer (m/w/d) Analysis Means & Methods in the Munich area.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and direct complex tasks internally and externally
- Define specifications and structural analysis means of compliance
- Define and propose programme code routines for analysis processes, methods & tools (e.g. FEM pre- & post-processes, automatic calculation, digital data processing)
- Plan activities according to defined deliverables
- Improve, define and adapt stress and F&DT methods, assumptions, data and procedures for metallic and composite structures (both hand calculations and FEM methods)
- Lead the preparation of certification level documents according to CS25 regulations
- Evaluate and demonstrate manufacturing non-conformities (concessions)
- Support stress and fatigue analysis for repair/acceptance of damaged structures
- Establish the required control procedures and progress monitoring in line with the program process to ensure delivery on time and to quality
Your profile:
- Educated engineering degree in aeronautical / aerospace or mechanical engineering
- Broad knowledge of means and methods specific to the development of airframe methods through to certification
- In-depth knowledge of stress, fatigue and damage tolerance for metal and composite components
- Proven, long-term professional expertise in structural analysis activities throughout the development phases and lifecycle of several aircraft
- Extensive knowledge of airframe certification requirements, design criteria, materials, methods and tools
- Experience in new aircraft development (CS25)
- Fluent in English, good German language skills
