Employee referral bonuses
Anyone who successfully recommends a new employee to a company in the Orizon Group will receive a bonus (provided all conditions are met). The pay grade in which the new employee is hired determines the amount of the bonus:
| pay grade (Entgeltgruppe) | premium amount | disbursement |
|---|---|---|
| EG 1 bis EG 2b | 300 € | Payment 3 months after joining |
| EG 3 bis EG 5 | 500 € | Payment 3 months after joining |
| EG 6 bis EG 9 | 1.000 € | 500 € after 3 months + 500 € after 6 months |
As a rule, payment is only made after a referred candidate has been successfully hired. For bonuses of 1.000 € or more, the payment is also split into two instalments (see table).
1. Participation
All natural persons aged 18 or over who work for a company in the Orizon Group are eligible to make recommendations. No employee of Orizon Holding GmbH or its affiliated companies who has influence over the filling of the advertised position is entitled to the offered bonus. Internal employees (e.g. in the branches or at head office) are only entitled to bonuses for filling internal positions as part of the ‘Colleagues recruit colleagues’ programme.
2. Validity
Bonuses are only paid once and are limited to one referrer per recommended candidate. The final decision on the awarding of bonuses rests with Orizon Holding GmbH or the subsidiary advertising the position. The company may decide not to award a bonus. Furthermore, no bonus will be awarded if the recommended candidate is already in the application process at Orizon Holding GmbH or one of its subsidiaries.
If recruitment/placement takes place more than six months after a recommendation, the recommender is no longer entitled to receive a bonus.
2.1 Referrers who do not (or no longer) work for Orizon
Referrers who are not (or are no longer) employed by Orizon Holding GmbH or one of its subsidiaries at the time the bonus is due must provide their bank details for the payment of the bonus to the relevant contact person within 14 days of becoming aware of their bonus entitlement.
If this information is not provided in a timely manner or not provided at all, the entitlement to payment shall lapse. However, we always endeavour to ensure that every referrer receives their deserved bonus.
Referrers who are no longer employed by us are responsible for the proper taxation of the bonuses they receive, e.g. in their income tax return, and will be advised accordingly.
3. Amendments and disputes
3.1 Changes made by Orizon
Orizon Holding GmbH and its respective subsidiaries reserve the right to make changes to the referral programme at any time without prior notice, or to discontinue it completely.
3.2 Disputes with Orizon
The place of jurisdiction shall be Augsburg.
- In the event of disputes, the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively, excluding any references to international legal provisions.
- Side agreements as well as amendments and additions to these rules shall only be valid if they have been made in writing. The waiver of the written form requirement pursuant to sentence 1 shall also require the written form.
- Should individual provisions of these rules be or become invalid or unenforceable, or should these rules contain a loophole, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In this case, the parties shall replace the invalid or unenforceable provision with one that corresponds as closely as possible to the economic purpose of the original provision. Any loophole in the rules shall be filled by a supplementary provision agreed by the parties which corresponds as closely as possible to the economic purpose of the rules.
