Your prospective job:
For our prestigious client Airbus Operations you act as a Logistics Process Specialist for Large Scale SAP Implementation (m/f/d) at the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
As part of the Airbus Logistics and Supply Chain department, you will contribute to the large-scale SAP implementation project Airbus Resource Planning (ARP) – a company-wide transformation initiative aiming to standardize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes across Airbus.
In this role, you will support the design and implementation of ARP logistics processes (inbound, warehousing, distribution, external dispatch) within a standard SAP environment, adapted to Airbus requirements. You will work in an agile project setup and actively drive the standardization and harmonization of logistics processes and IT systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Describe and compare As-Is and To-Be processes and solutions in order to identify differences and gaps between the legacy and future SAP system processes and functionalities
- Assessment and coordination of business impacts for identified differences and gaps
- Definition and description of SAP system impacts in case of significant gaps to adapt or enhance system functionalities or logics
- End to end testing and validation of processes and IT solutions
- Support the move into production including hypercare and training concepts
- Define, develop and align new logistics concepts, standards & processes with the relevant stakeholders (either individually or as an integral part of a project team)
- Secure a transparent, "one-touch" and simple logistics operations in Germany
- Consult with Airbus internal stakeholders on Airbus Logistics Documentation & Business Management System (BMS)
- Ensure standards are respected and followed
- Contribute to productivity improvements to increase the competitiveness of Airbus with main focus on a highly efficient logistics chain from supplier to the "Point of Delivery"
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems and Supply Chain / Logistics
- Work experience with SAP (Logistics) is required
- Very good knowledge in SAP and SAP/R3
- Knowledge in Google Workspace
- Good knowledge in process Management
- Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
