Your prospective job:
For our client Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Surface Technology Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Acquisition and execution of technology, development and qualification projects in the area of surface technologies, advanced functional coatings and corrosion protection
- End-to-end supervision of test campaigns (Planning, sampling, testing, reviewing, reporting)
- Support to obsolescence management and change requests
- Support to environmental compliance (REACH regulation) programs
- Consultancy to design, stress, quality and manufacturing for materials and process related enquiries
- Collaboration and steering with external institutes and material suppliers
Your profile:
- Completed studies in chemistry, aerospace, material science or comparable
- Professional Experience in surface and coatings technologies as well as corrosion protection
- Experience in aerospace industry and its related processes such as qualification, certification and standardization is preferred
- High proficiency in MS-Office
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
- Driving licence is necessary for business trips ( every 2 months 2 days/Germany and Europe)
