Your prospective job:
For our customer Airbus Operations, you are acting as Supply Chain & Quality Operations Manager (m/f/d) at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder and you are responsible for managing the contract execution of suppliers and their quality as wells as on-time performance and developments.
Your responsibilities:
- Evaluate suppliers in the tender phase
- Contribute to the selection decision when introducing new products
- Manage the supply chain including review of quality aspects
- Responsible for on-time and quality (and cost, if applicable) delivery
- Identify supplier industrial risks and take short-term action to improve performance
- Verify supplier certifications in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Evaluate supplier capacities, capabilities and performance and contribute to the development
- Support annual vendor evaluation and present operational performance during meetings
Your profile:
- University degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Supply Chain Quality, Business Administration, Economics, Aircraft Construction or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Management and Procurement
- Good knowledge in Total Quality Management
- Basic knowledge in Lean, Project, Process and Risk Management
- Advanced skills in SAP
- Skills in Google Workspace are advantageous
- Fluent English skills spoken and written
- Advanced German and French skills
