Your prospective job:
For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Simulator Software Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Software development including optimization and further development of existing subsystems of the PSTS Eurofighter training solution
- Performance of software design activities to enable the high-fidelity Eurofighter pilot training
- Interface implementation and harmonization with related subsystems, in particular the Weapon
- System Simulation of the Eurofighter and Image Generating Systems
- Support of the integration and testing activities at the simulation devices in close collaboration of other subject matter experts
- Contribution to all phases of the software development process from requirements engineering to subsystem qualification
Your profile:
- University degree in informatic, engineering or comparable
- Good experience in Systems Engineering and Military real-time simulations systems
- Good knowledge of System integration processes
- Experience with V-Model based Software Development process
- Distinct knowledge in Litening III LDP and RecceLite, Related EF aircraft avionics and LDP interfacing and Interfacing to Image Generators using either CIGI or proprietary interfaces
- Good knowledge in dealing with MS-Office, C, C++, ADA 95, Python and / or Pe
- Fluent English skill spoken and written, German knowledge would be a plus
