As part of the Consumer Channel Marketing Team, the Partner Marketing Manager for the region D/A/CH designs and implements a strategic regional marketing plan in partnership with Category and Sales, develops and executes co-marketing campaigns and initiatives in order to drive shared business objectives between Microsoft and our partner accounts. The scope of the position is to maximize the impact of marketing investments through partner activities, as well as own marketing campaign execution. 75% Remote Work is possible (25% HQ Munich).
Your responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
• Articulate and land Microsoft’s short- & long-term marketing strategies and programs, ensure marketing plans are built and executed in alignment with the strategy.
• Develop and land integrated marketing plans for our Microsoft products within D/A/CH, drive marketing execution and measure execution and return on investment (ROI).
• Identify and drive partner-specific marketing opportunities within D/A/CH in collaboration with the ‘Account Marketing’ team.
Business Operational Excellence
• Help land and execute key experiential and transactional marketing campaigns with our Partners to drive sales across our product portfolio as well as enable and empower the team with the right amount of strategic guidance and execution material.
Insights and Analysis
• Use internal and external data/research to assess industry/market trends, incorporate new concepts into marketing strategies, position Microsoft products in the competitive ecosystem and understand the relevance of Microsoft products in partner portfolios.
• Tests insights to validate authenticity, extensibility, and predictability.
• Create new quantitative marketing models that valuate, prioritize, and target segments, audiences, and programs.
Leadership
• Influence partners with marketing expertise to support the sales motion across the channels and drive cross group collaboration Influence across boundaries that delivers expected results.
• Be an active member of the D/A/CH Channel Marketing Team and of our product categories and communities.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field AND 2+ years digital, retail, channel marketing, marketing, retail sales, or commercial sales experience
- Fluent in written and spoken German
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Passion for retail, customer experience, technology, and Microsoft products
- Executive & Intercultural communication skills
- Forward looking and strategic thinking: anticipating and developing business opportunities and priorities for future action.
- Hands on mentality: Understanding how to get things done, demonstrating organization agility to overcome obstacles, and achieving objectives within and across groups
- Creatively developing original ideas, approaches and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems
