Your prospective job:
Our client is a renowned group company from the energy sector in Düsseldorf. We are looking for a Operations Analyst (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment for 18 months. The position can be performed 100% from the home office.
Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of LNG and Helium trades and entries, including entry validation, data quality management, updating the trading system, settlement and related documentation
- You will liaise with Front Office teams in response to any query and ensure timely and accurate payments\cashing of receivables is made in accordance with the Commercial Operations KPIs
- You will be analyzing, investigating and resolving discrepancies, settlement queries, process exceptions, and other operational incidents, as required
- You will support and search for additional opportunities to create value, increase efficiency and improve effectiveness, also exploring digital tools
- You will operate audits and follow up on recommendations with high quality and in given timeframe
- You will be monitoring open positions and coordinating the dunning process
Your profile:
- Educational or professional background in IT, business administration, logistics or similar areas
- first professional experience in the field of accounting and/or logistics
- Experience in physical commodity markets, ideally in deal validation, pre-settlement and settlement tasks is a plus
- good knowledge of SAP and common MS Office applications
- very good numerical skills, ability to work in a team (also in a home office) and strong customer orientation
- fluent German, English skills are an advantage
