Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Engineering Project Support (m/f/d) for our prestigious client in the field of aerospace industry in Weßling. We are an aircraft manufacturer with a strong heritage looking to continue our story. Headquartered to the west of Munich, we are recognized by international aviation authorities as a development, manufacturing and maintenance company. That is why today we are focusing our full energy on developing and manufacturing a new generation of technically advanced aircraft in Germany. Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate the maintenance of each engineering discipline schedules
- Organize and host Peer to Peer meetings as necessary, to allow the clarification of inter-disciplinary milestones, review deliverables and crosscheck interdisciplinary dependencies
- Track plan fulfillment and report conflicts
- Monitor progress and report roadblocks
- Administer Project Center, including formalization of changes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reporting to chief engineer
- Enhance Project Center content by providing and implementing a strategy to include Cost Management and Risk Management into the established structure
- Performance will be evaluated based on the ability to manage project milestones effectively, highlight showstoppers promptly, and resolve conflicts proactively
Your profile:
- Completed studies in aerospace, engineering or a similar qualification
- Many years of experience in project management
- Familiar with the VSV process in aerospace
- Good know-how about modern development techniques
- Experience in the development of project analysis tools for complex projects (power automatic)
- Knowledge of MS Project and MS Project Center
- Ability to review, edit and exchange Microsoft Office Suite products and PDF files
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automat would be a plus
- Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
