Your prospective job:
For our client in the aerospace industry at the location Munich you act as Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) Aviation.
The vacancy is a software development position for aircraft control and monitoring systems. You will join a team of engineers designing operating software and application software for embedded systems in safety critical equipment, which is working on next generation controllers for more electrical aircrafts.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribution within the development of safety critical embedded real time SW for aircraft systems according to RTCA/DO-178B, Level A to Level D
- Autonomous working according to project specific processes
- Support the tailoring of development processes to project-specific needs
- Support the Specification of Software High Level Requirements
- Development of Software Low Level Requirements
- Software Coding in C
- Software debugging
- Software integration and analysis
- Support the design of internal and external interfaces
- Support the definition of “Statement of Works” to be presented to potential suppliers
Your profile:
- Completed studies in software engineering or comparable
- Professional experience as Embedded Software Engineer Aviation would be a plus
- Specification of high level and low level software requirements (SRS, SDDD)
- Programming experience in C and/or Assembler Code
- Experience with V-model development cycle (preferably of safety critical software acc. to RTCA/DO-178)
- Experience within the usage of hardware in the loop test facilities
- Knowledge in Python Test Script Language, InCircuit-Debugger, MISRA guidelines and DOORS
- Experience with Configuration management in SVN, or IBM Rational Synergy/Change, or Serena Dimensions
- Knowledge in IBM - Rational Test RealTime
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
