Your prospective job:
For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Commodity Manager (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Negotiating agreements & contracts for commodity products
- Monitoring contract compliance, claim management
- Support to escalations from Supply Chain
- Lead and contribute to Procurement / Value Creation projects & initiatives
- Aim delivering synergies and savings
- Driving SED (Supplier Evaluation Development)
- Manage suppliers' relations for strategic matters
- Working with Design Office on new development projects and modifications
- Provide innovative, cost effective and secured solutions
- Ensuring early involvement into new programs development/bids
- Identify and implement savings projects in all areas
Your profile:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in Engineering and Project Management
- Experience as a Commodity Manager and in Procurement
- Experience with Airbus is a plus
- Very good skills in relationship / team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
- Good knowledge in MS-Office and SAP
- Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
